Our Ensembles
Concert Band (1st period)
The Arcadia Concert Band is open for all skill levels of woodwind, brass and percussion players. This ensemble helps player develop and improve basic skills on their instrument and perform a variety of repertoire at 4 concerts every year, including community and festival performances.
Concert Orchestra (2nd period)
The Arcadia Concert Orchestra is open for all skill levels of violin, viola, cello and bass players. This ensemble helps player develop and improve basic skills on their instrument and perform a variety of repertoire at 4 concerts every year, including community and festival performances.
Jazz Band (0 hour, begins after the marching band season concludes)
The Arcadia Jazz Band is open for all skill levels of woodwind, brass, percussion, guitar, bass and piano players. This ensemble helps players develop basic skills and improvisation on their instrument in various styles. Students will perform 2 concerts every year, including community and festival performances.
The “Spirit of Arcadia” Marching Band (0 and 7th hour)
The Spirit of Arcadia Marching Band is made up of woodwind, brass, percussion and color guard performers who perform at Football Games, pep assembly’s, community events and Marching Band Competitions. The Group prepares a 7 minute theatrical production that utilizes music, movement, dance, and props to create a demanding, detailed, and entertaining show.
Who We Are
Arcadia High School Instrumental Music is a diverse and exciting program hosting Concert Band, Concert Orchestra, Jazz Band and the 10 time state champion Spirit of Arcadia Marching Band.
The Program currently serves 50+ Band and Orchestra students who perform concerts, serve and perform for the community, and participate in the ABODA Concert festival and Marching Band circuit.
